TPI Acquires Travel Source Network

WINNIPEG, CANADA – Travel Professionals International (TPI), Canada’s largest network of home-based travel agents, today announces its acquisition of Toronto-based Travel Source Network (TSN).

“We’re proud to welcome TSN’s network of talented, committed, and successful travel agents and staff members to the TPI family,” said Phil Sproul, TPI’s Executive VP and COO. “Continuing our growth strategy, particularly in the Ontario market, brought TSN to our attention,” said Sproul. “As our segment evolves and competition is welcomed to the marketplace, we’re pleased that TSN has seen the commitment that TPI has given to providing the best home to its agents now and in the future.”

TSN’s network of 150 home-based agents will join the ranks of TPI’s 600-strong membership base, with access to the world class back office support systems that TPI has become famous for. As part of the terms of the agreement, all TSN assets including staff and agents will immediately begin the process of joining TPI through a transition program expected to take thirty to forty-five days.
